Setting has been implemented. Settings --> Quick voice memos.
Switch on puts the mic icon there, off takes it away.

Please do this. That icon just should not be there.

Yes I keep on accidentally hitting it and sending empty voice messages. It's irrating to me and to my recepients as well. Please have an option to disable it.

Please make this happen! I keep accidentally hitting the record button, sending random recordings to my contacts! It should be a simple work around to just remove this button!

Agreed. If I want to talk, I'll call someone. Every single time I try to reply to a text when my screen is locked, it starts creating a voice text. Please allow those of us who don't want this feature to remove it.

This is the most irritating feature on Textra, I keep getting charged for sending zero second audio clips. An option to turn it off is a really good idea.

Please for the sake of my OCD allow me to turn off the Textra microphone icon.
