This is already possible with many replacement keyboard apps.

I suggest using SwiftKey. Highly customizable (both appearance and handling), and with no ads from what I can see. The comma key can be held to activate Google's text-to-speech (which works offline also).

I want my mic back it so much easier if you driving or have things to do that requires a hand

This is already in Textra, you have to enable it.
Settings > Quick Voice Memos [On]

On Google keyboard the text to speech button is right below the send button on mine...

I WANT THIS DISABLED!!! I absolutely hate hitting the mic icon by accident. it infuriates me and drives me INSANE. If I want to send someone a voice message...WTF...that's what calls and voicemail is for. Jesus, we have phones that we never use as phones anymore. I'm a large man with large hands and fingers and this fkg mic icon is in my way all of the time!
