Textra suggestions
Textra is a great app — fast, smooth, simple, and customizable. I'd love to see it improve even more. Here are some suggestions:
• Display unread count in conversation list.
• In the conversation list, for group messages, display initials for contacts without pictures.
• In conversation list, have option to display newest conversations at the bottom (consistent with message view, easier to reach with one hand).
• In conversation list, swipe right to archive conversation (hides it from list).
• Options to change incoming text color, outgoing text color, timestamp color, bubble color, primary color, accent color, and background color independently. In addition, allow user to define custom colors (not choosing from a predefined palette).
• Option to define a day theme and a night theme that switch automatically.
• Option to not display chat bubbles, or display bubbles only on incoming or outgoing messages. (I prefer having bubbles on only incoming messages, as it emphasizes what I need to read).
• Option to hide microphone from input box; most keyboards have a voice input button.
• Individual chat options should be accessible from message view (e.g. when tapping on the contact's icon in the upper-right).
• In conversation list, for last message, indicate whether it was incoming or outgoing (perhaps with a flipped ↵ symbol or italics)
• In quick reply, tapping on header should open app.
• Option to have quick reply persist after sending message.
• Option to display contact images in message view.
• Option to display messages aligned left (with an indent for outgoing messages — see hello sms's layout).
• Option to change font.
• I personally would like the icon a lot more without the T!

Wish to change color background/text of PARTS of conversation. Like if it's a really important text in a long conversation.

New format just appeared on my Android phone and it is very inefficient compared to the old format. When I am texting the keyboard covers up what I am texting. Is there a way to go back to the old format?

Textra is an excellent app and I would like to upgrade to Pro.
I have two concerns(challenges) and perhaps there is already an inbuilt way to overcome them, so i really need your help.1. From within an SMS that has a combination of Text and Numbers, i would like to select and copy that number into the clipboard so i can place it in the dialler. Is there a way?
2. From an SMS that has a telephone number only , if i click on it, it takes me to the main BlackList window. I expected it should request me whether to dial or save into contacts. -

There is a strange font on my Textra app that is extremely difficult to read. I have tried changing the Android 11 font style and the Textra font style. However, it is still there and will not change. The font style appears on several apps. Again it is difficult if not impossible to read.
it is a very light white in color. PLEASE HELP! -

Have a phone icon displayed once a message is opened. Place it right next to the message, so we can immediately call that person instead of going to the top of the screen and opening a submenu.

Often times within a given message I will use multiple period dots to separate sections of a message. Textra always capitalizes after a period. I would like it if I could set it so it doesn't capitalize after multiple periods

What are your plans to support the new Chat messaging format being pushed to carriers and Android devices? Will we see these features implemented so that we don't have to revert back to using the stock texting app just to get read receipts?

Best message app I ever used. However one missing but important feature is to let my gear S3 watch report there is a Textra message. I don't need to see the message but it is important to receive a notification there is a new message. I understand that communicating with a Tizen watch may not be altogether trivial but I know there are many Texrtra users who have also have the gear watch. These users ha e influence. Please consider a Tizen/Gear notification.

Best SMS/MMS app by far. Still lacks some key features in order to replace everything for me, becoming my one-stop-shop.
1) At rest / in transit 256AES or 512AES encryption for messaging & file transfer
2) Voice call encryption with private keys, the ability to reset them on the fly, challenges for calls , etc.
3) The ability to add someone to your blacklist from the blacklist, by choosing a contact or by entering in a number. -

Two suggestions.
Hi' first it van ben good tout have thé choice tout lock/unlock the hour fort every messages.
second, I want a counter on my conversation, id l'île to know how manu message i sent and i received..
More graphical option? Font gesture?
More bubble personnalisation?
Possibility to lock the 'contact' box on top with HD picture gestion.This app fort message si amazing, keep working hard. You are really good.
