Reduce padding on main message screen. There is a lot of wasted space, especially if text size is set to small.
Option to alter contact icon size and increase number of lines of message or reduce padding between messages on main screen. This would reduce wasted space and increase information displayed.

I just picked up Textra and love it so far, but the message padding is driving me nuts!

I totally agree. Way to much wasted space. Cut those margins in half! This would give fewer lines per message and more messages per page. Win-win!
