@sunnyorlando: I'm a paid subscriber too but your method doesn't seem to work for me. It allows me to rename the group but that's all. It does not give me the option to edit the members. Is there any other step I'm missing? Thanks.

As a paid subscriber I came here looking for this same solution about adding/deleting people to an existing group. Im glad to have found one, albeit a workaround, but it works.
With the group rename method you can add and delete users to an existing group text.
I would hope that Textra could add a simple process for this making it more intuitive. It can't be that complicated.
Otherwise a great app that I have shared with many.

Can't believe I can't do this, such a basic feature. I hunted around for ten minutes, figured I was nuts.

Is it possible to edit a group conversation? I need to remove some people from the group?

Please add the ability to add people to an existing group text. I am considering using a different app (even though I am a paid user) just because of this. Very inconvenient to have to recreate a group text all over again, and all the same recipients, just to add or remove one from the group.

I can't remove someone from a group conversation I created either. Anytime I want to change people in or out of the group I have to recreate the entire group. Why?

Just piling on, here as another paid subscriber: This seems like a relatively easy feature to add. When you have a large family (or any group) and want to add someone the only option is to recreate the entire group all over again. Really not a good option.

I paid for Textra and this feature is critical. If I cannot do this with group texting since majority of my texts are work related this app is not for me. Please add this feature ASAP. Tons of other apps have this already

Agree, how has this feature been excluded from Textra? This is a common feature amongst most messaging apps. Please add this feature to future builds.

Textra, what's the problem? You would have done this already if you were serious about adding and/or deleting recipients to an existing conversation. If you're not going to do it, just say so and the ones who have waited for years can decide to move to a different app or stay.

Most other text apps have it. This should not be too hard.
