The work around is better than nothing but you have to reset any customizations you made to a conversation. I don't understand why this isn't there.

I would also like this feature to be added. The ability to add people to an existing text message is critical.

For example, if Person A sends me a text, and I want to reply to Person A *and* Person B. This is not currently possible. I think this is a very basic request, and I'm surprised this ability is not already possible.

I will keep looking for a different text app that includes this feature. Otherwise, textra is very good.

Note: I would immediately purchase the pro version of the app if it includes this "add person to conversation" ability.

OK, Ill jump on the bandwagon as well. I switched to Textra when Messages started giving me problems downloading incoming MMS messages. Works great, but I do ,miss the add person to existing conversation function.

Yeah, there should be an option in a current group text like "Copy all recipients into a new Reply" where I can just hit the plus to add new members. Or... just put the "+" option up there on a group.

We should not need a weird work-around to add people to a group text. Come on Textra! Probably a deal breaker for me.

this seems dumb. why wouldnt there be an option to add or remove someone from the group chat, instead of having to start a new one. sounds like lazy programming. get on it textra progs!!
