Yes, we should be able to select a folder for storage, and it should be able to be located on a removable storage chip.

I would love this too, textra. Please! Textra is officially my biggest internal memory hog.

It's been almost half a decade of people asking for this. It makes no sense that they wouldn't implement this or at least tell us why they aren't...

What the hell is this forum even for?

while you can manually move the pictures as others have said, it would be great to default to SD card, if available, I realize that not all phones feature the ability to add an SD card but for those of us that have phones that do, this would be awesome.

Absolutely agree! I have tons of space on my SD card but I cannot move the 7GB+ of pictures that I have in Textra messages. Thank you!

Agree, need to be able to set default location for file downloads, pictures, etc., to an alternate location like an SD card.

Agreed. Definitely a needed option.

It seems like a simple and basic option to set. My internship storage is full and i don't want to delete my received pictures. Fix this already please!

Why hasn't this been implemented yet? I do not want another folder in my gallery just for pictures saved from Textra. It's a ballache having to manually go in there and move them. This should be an option...

Agree this should be an option. My current Textra folder is over 2.5GB on a 32GB Samsung phone. Would be nice to move this to my 256GB storage card for all default TEXTRA storage needs.
