Utilize the proximity sensor to avoid waking the screen when the device is in your pocket when "wake screen" is enabled.
It is really annoying to find I have sent random replies to people because the screen turns on in my pocket. Most any other app that wakes the screen automatically uses the proximity sensor to check to make sure it isn't in the user's pocket to decide whether or not to wake the screen so as to avoid this scenario. Thanks!

This app would be perfect if only it used the proximity sensor to detect when the user was actually looking at the phone vs when the phone was in a bag / pocket...The proximity sensor can tell when the phone is in a bag / pocket and not turn the screen on when a new text is received thus saving a lot of battery!!! The "wake screen" feature really is only needed when the phone is actually in eyesight, and the proximity sensor can determine this!

not sure why this is not getting more attention. when I pull my phone out of my pocket after receiving a new message, I often accidentally swipe the message away because the screen is on. proximity sensor utilization would be great. I am on a 1st gen moto g LTE.
