Time AND date. It's hard to tell what DAY a text was sent/received because texts seem to be RANDOMLY date-stamped. As of October 30, 2016, this feature was ABSENT. It takes a whopping four touches to find out when a text was sent or received which is to slow and cumbersome. It would be better if the date was shown along WITH the time when you swipe a text to the left.

Hmmm, sometimes the Google relative time e.g. "just now, " 20 minutes ago can be quite handy.

I just found that you can see it with a swipe to the left

you see the date time of when the message was received on your phone but not the date when it was sent by your friend. would be great to be able to choose :o)

Very important feature
The sending time specify when a people will arrive (for exemple)

You do see an approximate time, but that's no good if you just noticed a text that says something like "I'll be there in 10 minutes"
