Option to always load the app on conversation list

When you leave the app and then come back to it, it automatically restores from the last conversation you were in. An option to always start from the conversation list when you open the app would be handy.

    So annoying to send a message to the wrong contact.

    There is another thread with title.
    "Option to always start from main 'inbox' please."

    Which is basically the same thing.
    Should be merged with this and the votes added.

    This is an amazing sms app, the best in my opinion, but this one missing feature keeps me looking for one that has this feature. I've switch and then come back to see if they have added it yet.

    They said they were working on this option about 6 months ago, but never implemented it. I feel like I have to hit back 3 times every time I finish so I don't send the next message to the wrong person accidentally.

    This! The only feature I feel is missing/lacking in Textra is the option to do this.
    If I'm using Quick Reply or whatever, obviously I want to go to that specific convo. still, but if I'm just opening my messaging app, I want to start at the conversation list, not the last person I was messaging. I hope that makes sense/is clear.
