Nexus 5, Android 5 - Priority Mode Issue
Nexus 5, Android 5, Textra as standard SMS app:
Textra ignores Priority Mode. Even with Priority Mode on (and messages set as not important/not a priority - meaning: phone shouldn't beep for SMS in Priority Mode) Textra plays notification sound anyway when SMS arrives.
That's pretty bad, because at night one switches to Priority Mode, since this is the mode that allows the alarm to wake me up in the morning.
I guess the root of the problem is that there is no silent mode any more in Android 5. It's been replaced with Priority and None Mode (None doesn't allow anything, not even the alarm in the morning).

Android 5 Lollipop doesn't call it "silent" mode any more. The new name is "priority interrupt".

I'm still having sound notification even if I'm in priority mode (5.0.1)

Same here. Can't use textra unless you put the phone in "None" mode which isn't an option. Too bad since other than this major issue Textra is my favorite texting app. This isn't evenm something minor I can work around though. It makes the phone unusable at work.

Well, something seems to have been fixed here. Sound setting is now muted in priority mode.
However, vibration is still there. More precisely: Even when the phone is set to priority mode, it still vibrates (when receiving an SMS with TEXTRA as standard SMS app).
The vibration setting in TEXTRA doesn't really help in that case. It's all about behaviour when set to silent mode or not, and silent mode isn't available anymore in Lollipop.
