Notification counter above app icon
please add unread message count above the app icon. The unread message notification is great but having it shown above the app icon would be helpful as well.

Why isn't there a counter on the app? I have the app on my main screen for easy access. It would be helpful if I could look at my phone and know, ok I have 3 new messages. Is this feature available and I just don't know. I am new to text a.

I think that some of the main missing features, along with a "draft message" indicator in the messages list.
I posted a suggestion here : https://textra.uservoice.com/forums/208555-feature-request/suggestions/6938848-indicator-for-draft-messages-not-yet-sent-in-the-g hope it goes to prodution !

Agree 1000%. Just started using Textra and loce it, but the lack of this feature could cause me to stop using and go back to the default android messaging app
