As a paying/paid user, I'd like to see this feature. Both when sending to multiple people, have it send as individual texts so not to annoy others and also when receiving a group text, to opt out, or mute the thread... please!

I would love to see the option to mute group chat messages, similar to the way Facebook handles this or Verizon Message+

I agree this is a much needed feature! Need the ability to mute notifications from a group chat without blacklisting and then un-blacklisting....I may actually want to go see the texts later.

Dear Anonymous, there is already an option to send as individual texts. Just uncheck the "Use MMS for Group Chats" option.

Please. Can't even get out of group chats... They can be annoying. Just an option to set a custom notification or mute/unmute would be great!

Also, maybe an option when sending a text to multiple people to send them as individual texts instead of creating a new group text conversation.

I would still like to receive the texts just stop getting notified for a specific thread until I unmute it.
