Show number of unread messages on app icon

In other text apps, normally there appears a number on the app icon when new messages arrive, showing the number of unread messages. I cannot find this option in Textra.

    IT would be most helpful if the number of unread messages showed on the textra icon. Is there any way to do this?

    I am using Qmobile i12 and i cant see the number of unread msgs on app's icon..
    My friend is using LG Optimus G and in his mobile the number of unread msgs are shown on the app icon... What to do please help?
