Is Textra support the pop-up noti of Lollipop?
I think Textra doesn't support pop-up notification of Lollipop yet
I know Textra supported Textra's pop-up notificatiom
But in Lollipop, Android support pop-up notification officially

Yes please, I would prefer to have the default floating notifications set to Lollipop and have the option to use Textra floating notifications in settings.

I second this. As it is, Textra should use lollipop's popups by default for uniformity, but allow us to choose if we want the textra version.
Additionally, if we can't use the OS popups, we should be able to dismiss the floating popups with s swipe.

I agree, if you turn off floating textra notifications, you don't get any sort of visual notification at all other than the icon in the nitrification bar. I want to use the android L system for visual unifiormity reasons
