Delayed sending
A settings feature that delays sending by a user defined time (eg. 5 Seconds) and allows the user to cancel the sending of the text. Thus providing users with he ability to stop texts being sent to the wrong person or with spelling mistakes etc.

Take a look at the way GO SMS does it, they offer a custom setting where you can choose how long to delay. The current max of 9 seconds just isn't long enough for me to read and cancel!

long hold the send triangle and a pop up that allows you to scroll up from seconds all the way to days. Independent for each message

5 seconds is useless to me! How about 7-10 hours?

There has to be a feature that allows you to compose a text and then pick for it to be automatically sent some day or time in the future this is what chomp app has
