    I get about 10 polictail texts per day. So many that I've started to ignore the sound when I get a text. I would like a handful of people (like my kids!) to have a sepecial ringtone so that I grab them right away. FYI I have my kids set on repeated notifications & everyone else not & that doesn't help.

    is there a way to set personalized notifications for individual contacts? It wojld be extremely helpful for me?

    This is already an option. Long-tap on a contact to override default settings for individual contacts.
