Close Textra after sending texts

I want the Textra app to close after sending a text from within the app. The same way quick reply works.

    If I use my "contacts" to select who I wish to send a text to, as soon as the text is sent, textra closes and returns me to my "contact" list. I want textra to stay open on screen.

    Textra is closing after I hit send on my Nexus 6P. This started with the update on Sept 14th.

    Well I got that in my version of textra...and I want it to STOP!

    My reasoning for this is, when I send a text from within the app and I don't remember to close the app it doesn't notify me when the person responds. With the app open it treats it as if I'm looking at the screen, even when the screen is off.
