When a new incoming message is received, the app should open to that incoming message, not the thread that I last sent something from. I sometimes have to back out two levels then go into the message list from the most recent sender.

Because this is not the default, it's far too easy to reply back to the wrong person after seeing the text popup on the lock screen, reading it, going into textra and then replying to the person I had last sent to someone because that's where it opens to. One of these days it's going to be embarrassing.
