Sometimes some people are unreachable or they have turned of they phone. So i send a sms to them and i need to know when the sms is delivered to them so i can call them (because of prepaid lines cant call u back sometimes) and i cant wait and not blink to see the toast and when i send more than one message to different people i need to know which one is delivered. So a notification in drawer with a tone is great. I used handcent and it had this feature but it was slow textra has a good speed but lack this feature
