Auto-correct can be a terrible - better a misspelling than auto-generated gibberish

Yeah I'm thinking of uninstalling this app, which I really really really like otherwise, because auto correct is ducking up my messages. :( Turning it off needs to be an option!

Yes, auto correct doesn't work with this app. It makes a great product suck!!! To add a word that has absolutely no meaning is ridiculous!! Allow us to turn it off or remove it from the app.

Yes! I agree. Very annoying and counter productive. May have to uninstall this app.

Please show how to turn off auto correct. So annoying how it will fill in what you had abbreviated only with a complete other word that makes no sense.

Agreed. Even when I'm very careful while typing, auto correct is very aggressive. Yes, I use the "wait-a-few-seconds-before-sending" option, but still, I really really really prefer having the option to turn off autocorrelations (%$-#!!) autocorrect.
