Can we disable autocorrect?
I cannot find a Knowledge Base article anywhere. Someone please help if its already posted here. The AutoCorrect features in this app are terribly annoying and super unhelpful.

Yes, in settings on my phone theres a Language and input section, and in that a sub section - spelling checker, with an on / off toggle, but that does not do anything in Textra. As stated elsewhere here, you have to find the virtual keyboard as theres a spelling checker there as well. It does work in turning the checker off in Textra.

I believe the problem is not with the text program (Textra), but rather with the virtual keyboard that you are using... Taking the hint from Leisa's post I went to my virtual keyboard (Fleksy) and disabled the auto correct function.... no more auto correct issues..!!

How to turn off auto correction on Google Keyboard
On stock Android, go to Settings.
Next, scroll down a bit until you see the Language & input tab, and tap on it.
Now, tap on Google Keyboard.
Text correction...
And there you go - you can disable auto correction by tapping on that toggle. -

We need an undo option when autocorrect does it wrong. Yes, autocorrect is great in most cases, but when it fails I need a quick undo. Like Ctrl+z in word.

One option i found is to turn it off on your phone and turn on word suggestion instead. Works like a charm for me!

I do not understand how this is not being addressed. This is a major issue for me, & by online reports, many others. It is becoming close to be a deal breaker. I have way too many 'corrections' messing up my texts. Pls tell us how to turn it off.
