I would like to see an option that for group texts, I could choose SMS only so if they only have SMS capabilities, they could receive group.

Not everyone is set up to receive MMS. So when I send out a text to 2 or more people, I'd like to have an option to send SMS only, so I wouldn't have to send out the same text so many times.

    Looks like if I set the group setting to reply Only To Me, as long as I don't attach a picture, it does exactly what I need.

    To some extent this exists. Under Settings, Group messaging, select BULK.

    This will send sms only (unless you make a very long text or add media of course)

    But it is a general setting, not something you can easily switch for the next message only.
