Android wear 2.0 support please
I don't like Google messenger. I just picked up the LG watch sport and I would love to see textra support on Android wear 2.0

Anonymous, you need to go into your settings and change the group messaging option (halfway down the settings page) from bulk to chat

OMG yes, please! I love this app, but I allowed my Wear watch upgrade to 2.0, and there is no support! These comments go back over a year. What's the holdup? I was about to spend the dough to support and remove ads, but not until it is fully functional with Wear OS 2.0 :(

I've been using Textra for several years now but will probably have to find something else since there is no support for AW2

I just purchased a fossil q wander and was worried about not being able to use textra for sms as that is my primary messenger. At first I wasn't getting any notifications at all. So I updated to the most recent version and it started working. I've been able to read entire messages and even see previous ones in the thread. I've also been able to reply to texts on the watch via both keyboard and speech-to-text. So I would suggest making sure you have the most recent version of textra installed and see if it helps.

+1 for the Android Wear 2.0 support. I love Textra, but I want to be able to send texts from my watching using voice and keyboard as well as quick replies. Since this no longer works in 2.0 with Textra, I'll have to search for something else. This saddens me, but I've waited long enough, I think.

Not support, but a standalone app for Android Wear. Where we could send texts, view conversations, start calls, possibly even manage conversations all from the watch.

I wish I could revert back to previous android. I can't send texts without touching my watch now. What's the point? Support the new version please.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I absolutely love Textra. Would gladly pay to have the option of initiating a text message from Android Wear 2.0 and getting all of the options that come with it.
Any idea of if or when this will be added? -

@Max: Textra does work with Android Wear 2.0, but not very well. On my Moto 360.2, Wear 2.0 has just about ruined texting with Textra. Before 2.0 came out it was wonderful- I could get messages and respond easily. Now it is a nightmare. I have to click on the notification, then scroll down through a huge thread to get to the bottom, then select "reply" on a tiny button, then select input method with another press, then enter the reply.... and then it doesn't time-delay autosend like before, but I have to press yet another button to send! It is so much work and complexity and frustration! I can't tell if this is because of something Google did or just because Textra doesn't integrate well with Wear 2.0. I am so unhappy now :(

Bit confused, as Textra works on Android Wear 2.0 in terms of notifications and replying to texts. It does not allow new texts to be initiated that's all.
Would love more clarification, please email developer@textra.me

You have the best sms app on Android by a long shot but no android wear 2.0 support means I cant use this app. Pulse has a native app but find it buggy and not as customizable. Please please please add a native app and ability to make it the default messenger under the carrier settings.

Dropping Textra until better news about this

would also be nice if it would let you see messages sent from either device. Since the LG Watch Sport has LTE you can send texts from your watch that your phone does not know about. Would be nice if textra supported syncing those if it was at all possible.
