Textra for PC/desktop
Will Textra ever consider building a PC version of the app so users can read SMS on a desktop computer? That would be so great!

Agreed. I also had to switch to AM because of Textra not having this feature.

Add one for me, Textra is hands down the best messaging app but I went to AM for web version support, and I hate AM! Please hurry and add this feature Textra!

Absolutely would love to see Textra put out a desktop (or web version at the very least) version of their awesome app... please include Mac in that as well

Most definitely, Textra is my favorite messaging app, but like lots of folks, I went back to AM for the PC reason

This feature is definitely needed considering Textra is much better than Android Messages.

Tally another up for switching back to Android Messages bc of the lack of a desktop client for Textra. I had been using the dual messaging app setup with mySMS & Textra but Messages for Android on the desktop is a better interface and messages delivered immediately where I'd begun seeing some latency or missed messages on the combo solution.

Agreed, I recently switched to Android Messages specifically for this reason. I'd much rather use Textra if there was a web interface

I also agree that this would be a worthy addition to Textra. I have tried Pushbullet, My SMS and Mighty Text, but to have a web client for Textra would be the perfect solution. Textra support, if you are reading this, please look at all the requests for this feature and consider it!!

I would be all over this if it were on textra. I've switched over to android messages for the time being just for this feature, but as soon as it comes to textra I'm coming back. Please bring it to textra soon!

Right now, doing this with other services feels like a hack. And since an inferior SMS such as Google's Android messages already has this feature, this would be a great addition. It would be awesome if we at least got confirmation of if this is even in the works, or on the story board.

Had the same request. The solution is to pair Textra with a PC side program.Use either mysms or MightyText (may be another that works but these were confirmed).
1-Pick the app (mysms or MT) you want to use as the desktop client
2-Install chosen app on phone, in addition to Textra
3-Install desktop side software
4-Ensure Textra is your phone's default app and now your texts will appear within the desktop programI prefer & use mysms over MightyText on my PC and this is the procedure I followed. Works like a champ, on phone and on desktop! I have noticed some brief latency on the desktop side so its not near-instantaneous like it was when I used the Google Messages app on my phone & PC. Minor issue if you really prefer Textra on your phone.

Can't seem to get messages to appear on my PC when I have TEXTRA activated on my phone. If I activate Messages on my phone, then messages show up on the PC.
Am I doing something wrong?

Currently I am using android messaging app for desktop support - but I would love to see this feature in Textra as I love the app!

This would put Textra over the top. Please develop this. Love Textra and currently using pushbullet to send sms from PC, but would much rather keep it all in the Textra family.

Please enable this as I use this heavily and went back to Android Message due to this.
I'm missing your customisations thought. -

PLEASE do this! I'm using MightText for desktop now, but I would prefer to use Textra!

I'd love to see this feature, it's very smooth for Android Messages, but I prefer Textra for the stuff that I can customize. Textra needs this feature to be the perfect messaging app!
