Textra for PC/desktop
Will Textra ever consider building a PC version of the app so users can read SMS on a desktop computer? That would be so great!

Yeah, I think this would be an excellent addition. Android Messaging is OK, and works well enough, but realistically, Textra blows it out of the water in terms of customization and features... except this one thing. I'd be willing to pay the extra for this feature / convenience. It's really one of the few next steps in the evolution of this app. Add video chat, browser access, realtime "typing reply" notification and some other minor odds and ends, and you've got the only messaging app anyone needs.

Is this even getting anywhere? I'd love to discuss why this can/cannot be done. I'm a techy guy, but don't really know the backend of stuff.Iif Android Messages can do it, what does it take for Textra to do the same? I very much prefer the expansive options I have with Textra over Messages. I also paid for Textra, so would love to go back to it at some point (yes I know it was like... $3)

I definitely agree. Mighty Text and Pushbullet do not have all the features I love from Textra!

I just stopped using Mighty Text since it costs too much- it had a desktop interface and I loved it, I want this for Textra ALSO!!
The other big task that I use all the time is the scheduler- without this I would just use the stock app on the phone.I prepare several texts early in the morning and then schedule them to go out when needed- I would prefer to do this on my desktop like I could with Mightytext
Please add this for us, we are all asking for it and I am a PRO user ( I paid up)

I mentioned wanting this feature in my review of the app, and they wrote back that I should just use pushbullet if I want to text from web.

Got a new phone and don't have 2 features i had previously: reminders to read unread messages and ability to schedule when to send texts. I enjoyed the web version and just assumed that textra would have this along with the 2 features above. I love having desktop texting. I would pay $$ to have all 3 features.

Agreed. I also had to switch to AM because of Textra not having this feature.

Add one for me, Textra is hands down the best messaging app but I went to AM for web version support, and I hate AM! Please hurry and add this feature Textra!

Absolutely would love to see Textra put out a desktop (or web version at the very least) version of their awesome app... please include Mac in that as well

Most definitely, Textra is my favorite messaging app, but like lots of folks, I went back to AM for the PC reason

This feature is definitely needed considering Textra is much better than Android Messages.

Tally another up for switching back to Android Messages bc of the lack of a desktop client for Textra. I had been using the dual messaging app setup with mySMS & Textra but Messages for Android on the desktop is a better interface and messages delivered immediately where I'd begun seeing some latency or missed messages on the combo solution.

Agreed, I recently switched to Android Messages specifically for this reason. I'd much rather use Textra if there was a web interface
