-Pick the app (mysms or MT) you want to use as the desktop client
-Install chosen app on phone, in addition to Textra
-Install desktop side software
-Ensure Textra is your phone's default app and now your texts will appear within the desktop programI prefer & use mysms over MightyText on my PC and this is the procedure I followed. Works like a champ, on phone and on desktop! I have noticed some brief latency on the desktop side so its not near-instantaneous like it was when I used the Google Messages app on my phone & PC. Minor issue if you really prefer Textra on your phone.

Tally another up for switching back to Android Messages bc of the lack of a desktop client for Textra. I had been using the dual messaging app setup with mySMS & Textra but Messages for Android on the desktop is a better interface and messages delivered immediately where I'd begun seeing some latency or missed messages on the combo solution.
