Will change to 5 stars when they fix 2 function deficiencies and one flaw. 1. When you press & hold a message in a thread to select it, there NEEDS TO BE A "SELECT ALL" OPTION. (ALL apps I own have this option) 2. Just as there is a two step confirmation to delete a text, we NEED A "SEND CONFIRMATION" OPTION in Settings. (So you don't accidentally send an unfinished text). (I don't know what the Send Delay option is good for?)

FLAW.... SEND TO A GROUP IS NOT WORKING as it should on my NOTE 4. I am unable to send a text to ONLY the numbers I have chosen in my group. Some contacts (in my group) have multiple numbers. When I choose to incude a person (with multiple numbers) in the group I have created, Textra selects the number I have chosen for the group, PLUS, ALL THE OTHER NUMBERS I have stored for that person. I have to go back & delete each unwanted number.

Despite the above-mentioned this is by far a better app than the pre-installed Android messaging app.
