- Assign a custom sound for anyone in a specified group. This would be useful for work groups so that I know when someone from work is trying to communicate with me, and then I can ignore all other received texts. 2. Use the assigned notification sound for individuals in a group conversation rather than the default sound. I have no idea if I'm receiving a text from someone I know, or a spammer, or a contact with an unassigned notification.
