Whenever I am exiting the app via gestures in Android 11 (thumb up from the bottom middle of the screen), it scrolls all the way down through my messages even though I wasn't trying to scroll but to simply exit the app instead. The outcome of this is the fact that I always have to scroll back up whenever I re-visit the app, which is annoying and time-consuming. It would be nice if the devs found a way to overcome this.
