Close keyboard right after message is sent
When message is sent the keyboard should be closed like in many other messaging apps.
This will be rolled out iun v3.21 of Textra in the next week.

If this feature is implemented it should be a configuration option as most users probably like the way it works today.

I disagree, this should not be on by default. It is already so annoying that Hangouts was updated to make the keyboard auto-hide when you scroll. It really is not that hard to hide the keyboard when you want, but very annoying if it keeps popping up and down on its own. This should only be an option if it is implemented like Ken said.

I don't think it would be optimal if it wasn't an option, it would make it more difficult to send messages one after the other. But an on/off in the options for people who would like to use it wouldn't hurt.

Or add a checkbox somewhere in settings to turn this feature on or off
