Hah. I'm pretty darn sure people requesting this feature wanted avatars next to bubbles in ALL conversations—not just group ones—the way many other messaging apps do it.

Also, this should be OPTIONAL. Please do not force it on everyone. I actually appreciate just in group conversations, but if you guys expand it to all (which I think you really ought to), please make it optional.

Wow, I wouldn't really consider this complete either. I hope this will be further expanded to an option to show contact photos in non-group conversations.

This would be a great option. Maybe have pictures overlap the edge of the message bubble so it looks sexy. It would be awesome for all incoming messages not just group messages! Thanks!
