Option to change vibration patterns
Instead of just "one long vibrations or "two", it could be custom or have a new pattern, so I know who texted me when my phone is still in pocket.
Will be in Release 2.37 out next week.
If you’d like an advance copy to check it out, then email help@textra.me and put MAX in the subject line.

I hate being this guy, but what the hell: The custom vibration option was poorly executed. It's really hard to use and I'd rather have a number system like Evolvesms. I love the app. It makes texting via tmo not terrible. However, this wasn't great guys.

As others have noted, 2.36 has come and the feature has not

Received an email from Max awhile ago saying this would be in 2.36 but I have not been able to find it. Please advise.

I thought this would come with version 2.36? I just updated to 2.36 and it's not there.

Yes, keep the 'short' selection but having an additional option for three 'short' beeps would be fabulous. Being that one short one can go unnoticed.

Seriously? Vibrations is a top feature request? Yikes.

Will the option to set a custom vibration alert include the ability to set the pattern with time calls, as with chomp? IE, 0.5,0.25,0.75? That's what I'd prefer.

I do hope, when it is implemented in 2.36, that it allows for the customization of vibration duration, as well as per-contact settings.

I agree with this suggestion. The vibration patterns are too outdated and need to be two quick vibrations.

Must add a 2 short vibrations to the vibration patterns! Please add.

The current vibration is to loud. I used handcent sms and there, you can create your own vibration. That's the best but I would already be happy if 2 smaller vibrations could be possible to opt in here :)

I like the ability to customize vibration patterns in Chomp SMSReceiver.onReceive and it should be a trivial add to the code in Textra.

Yes, would be a perfect ap if I could customize vibration patterns. This is the best SMS ap I've used, but many substandard aps have this feature...
