Hey guys, I'll like that you guys add to your awesome application the way to know if the person who we are texting read the message, and you can know without having cellular mobile data and without having availed MMS. Please try to do that, you guys are the best SMS app. I've been using Textra like for 1 year.

I don't need it at all, since I keep every single message. But on low end phones, it could be really useful.

So like 1000 plus texts in each of my converstaions...no wonder my phone lags. Isnt this like a basic feature of a message app?

I really can't understand why adding such an useful feature is being postoponed (or "reviewed" should I say) for such a long time. In the same time you've been adding tons of useless colours, emojis, bubble styles, themes, other (in your opinion) NICE text color options, etc. Come on, guys...

The app has already a delete button, why others don't even think of that? If you don't want your phone to lag just simply delete the messages and clear datas for other applications or buy new phone instead.

PLEASE. I don't want to have to delete this app JUST because it's using up ALL my data or delete conversations for the same point. But, to the rest of you, there are back up SMS apps that download your texts so you could delete these daily. Js

This idea was suggested three years ago and the developers still continue to ignore it? Why??? I have over 18k texts, I don't want to have to delete entire conversations threads. Why are they so against implementing such a basic feature?

This would be so useful, no more laggy phone because I end up with 10k messages over the course of a few months. Everything is good until the 10k mark, but one message over and BOOM! Everything stops!!

Pls bring this feature to Textra; while clearing out my messages I found where I had over 73 measages in a conversation!

This is a required feature that stock has had the ability to enable for years..

Come on guys, your app is great but it really needs this feature! Manually deleting old messages is a pain in the chuff!!!!
