Agreed. A toggle for sender / group would be awesome. Or maybe ability to selectively remove recipients of original message from my reply.

A number of us have asked for the ability to reply to one instead of the whole group. Some requests are quite old. I sent pictures of how it is possible to do this on other text messaging apps, even stock. The least Textra could do is reply to our requests as to why they can't add this feature.

Dumb not to have this. Even Verizon's stock message plus lets you set group messages to individual replies.

Very much a needed feature truly cannot understand why this has not been addressed. Seems time this would be one of the first things applied to such a great app. Please fix, for it is so annoying.

I need this as well. I just accidentally replied to 13 people I didn't know, because I didn't know that I was replying to a group chat. . There should be Reply and Reply All options.

Like to use this app but this is a must. I like to send out mass texts but want only the replies go to me. Too many people respond and get annoyed when there are 20 returned texts from numbers they don't know. Not ALL my friends know each other. Please make this priority #1 or I will have to look elsewhere.

I just switched to Textra yesterday because I thought it would address my "reply to sender only" dilemma however it doesn't do that or even reply to all with individual instead of group texts (even the stock messaging app can do this!). I guess I'll uninstall and look at another competitor.

Textra, I don't understand why you don't add the option to respond to only the sender of a text message. At least tell us why you haven't added this option; is there a technical reason you can't do this?

In line with this we need to be able to send out a group text as individual texts. This lets you see who it failed for, as well as keeping all conversations under the individuals name, even if that individual was sent a text as part of a group

Please do something about this. I just replied to a text and ended up congratulating 21 people on the birth of their new son.. 20 confused people texted me back asking who I was.

Reply All can get you into deep problems. It is dangerous. If you decide not to add an option to set Reply to Sender as the default..... at least show an icon with the faces of Jason, Freddie Krugger and Chucky when the SMS is a group chat. ;-)
