How do you put private box back on to your phone??

I don't think it has to be a private box..I think just to have to ability to make certain messages from select senders hidden or aka not readily accessible from the general inbox a la BlackBerry stock messaging app. That would make Textra quite perfect.

.... a private box, that has personal notifications like the inbox and maybe a pin/password to access the private inbox. As long as it can't be viewed in the general inbox by others as you scroll. Some conversations need to be private, such as planning surprises, personal family business etc.
I used to use go sms for this but it's too messy and had to contact developers to fix major problems too often. even with pro version - had my money refunded and uninstalled the app.
Textra is 1000% better. I'd buy pro with this feature and 5 star rating.

Please add private message to this app. You guys have the best rating just left out that feature

Yes, that would be much faster, easier, less annoying & safer as well. Just in case one forgets, is too busy or whatever the reasons are to hide suchvting Person Messages or excuses are for neg;ec file or deal with by opening or creating other Apps, Files or to the text is than something that was hurtful

GoSms really nails this. Or they did in the 5.x versions (removed in 6.x). Allows you to choose who goes to private and choose the notification icon (hint: choose a different app). Inbox is password protected.
