It's a great sms app, I use the paid version. My default sms app on the LG G4 doesn't allow custom notifications for each contact like textra and that's the main reason why I use this app. But it did support custom backgrounds. Please add this feature to textra.

Well the reason I stopped using this app was this .... well it is important to me because I have wallpaper of loved ones as backgrounds of their chats ..it's great and kind of add that personal bit of touch hope you add this soon until then sorry though it's a great app

Sounds good. I would even be happy with the choice to set a main background where the messages are and a seperate one when you open the messages

I've been seriously considering going back to it, just for that reason.

This is the main thing for me that is a setback for this app. I kinda expected it to have a custom background feature for conversations, as a lot of other apps do. REALLY want this feature.

I too would greatly enjoy this! Light, dark, and off are not as much customization that I'd enjoy.

After this addition the app would be perfect.

Indeed I'd like to choose one of my pics as a background for specific contacts.

Would love to be able to choose photos for my background instead of just light, dark, and black.
