Automatically delete when swiping

At the moment we swipe left then click delete, or swipe right and click phone. Can we have the option to automatically do it without the click?

    Noooo. Don't do this! There would be a much higher risk of deleting a text accidentally through an inadvertent swipe or by forgetting whether you swipe right or left to delete. If you DO implement this idea, you MUST require a confirmation before the text is deleted. Sometimes you have to save us from ourselves.

    There are like 8 request just like this one. If folks would search first and vote on others there'd be a lot more votes on this issue.
