    This would help with wearables since the textra app doesn't correctly provide the message contents in the notifications

    The stock android app provides the full notification, while textra is using some other channel. So the blank notification is from textra. Textra should be updated to have an option for Garmin watches. Also, the reason you are getting 2 messages is because you never turned off notifications from the stock app. You can turn that off and get just the blank textra notification, if that suits you, or get both, and just use the bottom notification for the text content.
