    The awkward workaround DOES NOT WORK FOR SINGLE Recipient messages that u want to convert to GROUP message. The Pencil icon does not exist for Single Recipient messages -- it is replaced by a Phone-Call icon.

    We desperately need this feature that exists in Android stock Messages app and many others.

    Make it a Gr8 Day :)

    Still need SUBJECT LINE just like Stock app... for many reasons, e.g. when u CC an email address so the recipient sees SOMETHING vs NOTHING on subject line.
