    There isn't a single best method, it depends on how many EML files you need to import.
    For a handful of EML files: Add your Microsoft 365 account to Outlook and drag the EML files into the desired mailbox folder. Outlook will sync them to your Office 365 account.
    For hundreds or thousands of EML files: A dedicated migration tool is a much better option, as manual imports become slow and difficult to manage.
    I recently used Kernel Email Migrator for a similar project. It let me import EML files directly into a Microsoft 365 mailbox while preserving the original folder hierarchy, attachments, and email properties. It also supports bulk migration, filtering, scheduling, and can resume interrupted jobs, which was useful when migrating a large number of emails.
    Whichever method you choose, I'd recommend importing a small batch first to verify everything appears correctly in the destination mailbox before starting the full migration.
