As of the May 4, 2018 update, I now am having keyboard problems. When I turn on my Android phone, or if it has not been in use for a few hours, when I attempt to text somebody the keyboard remains hidden and nothing I do can cause the keyboard to come back up to allow me to type on it. If I reboot my phone (which I have to do regularly now for the past week and a half) then I can get the Swype keyboard to work again.
Also, the Swype Theme I paid for is sometimes disappearing and going to a generic keyboard theme. I have to reboot my phone, and tap around in another app on the phone, to try and get the keyboard theme that I paid for to come back on. Going into the Textra settings does not help at all. It's some strange bug.
But I also at about the same time as the update, updated to Oreo 8.1 from 8.0. So maybe it's the Oreo update causing the issue. I don't know.
