Text selection to copy
currently:
user can copy whole message on message selection on long press.
there is no way to copy selected part of the message, including text, links, numbers...enhancement:
Selection mode so user can select and copy only particular, selected part of the message.
if long press is taken under url or a number, user should be able to copy it as well.11 votesTap the bubble, tap COPY, move the selectors to copy the text you want, press COPY again.

Number of message per contact
Would be cool to have the number of messages sent/received next to the contact name
22 votesIn the conversation list, slide a row to the right to see the count of messages for that conversation.

Samsung Live Messages
Can you please add support for Samsung's live messages available on the note 8? For some reason, sending fails through Textra but works fine in the stock Samsung messages app.

Enable-able snippet preview
They took it out for sent messages because "you know what you sent". But I would like an option to turn that back on. I send a lot of stuff, and when referring back to the messages there's no way I'll remember what everything was. Someone suggested an option to disable. Instead they removed it altogether (for sent). I would like an enable-disable option so I can choose.

Bring back URL snippet for Sent
I love weblink snippets! They were briefly included for sent messages too, and I liked that. Can we have check boxes in settings to enable or disable both kinds of hyperlink previews?

Weblink Snippet Preview
Would like to see the ability to disable weblink snippet previews (preferably by contact). Most snippets take up too much space and if a login is required, the snippet doesn't show. I actually went back to Textra v3.35 (which doesn't have weblink snippets). There is between 200 and 300 votes that don't like this feature. Please add ability to disable.

Live Messages Note 8
Unable to send live messages created on note 8 .. Every other mms goes through except the live messages, seems like textra is unable to compress them .. AT&T

Snippet display should be optional, not requirement
New update removes snippets when we send it. That should be optional. Personally I want to see what I sent which is why I haven't updated

WEB SNIPPET
The snippet for weblinks (from YouTube) can that be optional?

Bring Back Weblink Snippets
Why just take it away for the sender? Who cares if I know the link I'm sending? I still want to see what it looks like to the person receiving it. MAKE IT OPTIONAL, DON'T JUST TAKE IT AWAY!

weblink pre-rendered 'snippets'
I love weblink pre-rendered 'snippets' , but even though I know what I sent, it would be cool if I had the option of still continuing to see it. Add it as an option.

RE: weblink pre-rendered 'snippets'
We were so disappointed to see you remove this feature. We loved it so much...to be able to see it even as a sent message. That made it easier to see what actual articles we sent to others!! Yes, they will still receive it as a snippet...but being able to see it from here as a sent message...THAT was genius!!! We started to frantically look to toggle that feature back on...only to discover that viewing it as a sent snippet is now GONE! Please bring it BACK...at least to toggle on or off as a sender option!! That would satisfy…

Option to disable web snippet
Please let us turn on or off the web snippet preview; sometimes they take a long time to load and the majority of link previews take up the entire screen.

Sent Http or https pre-rendered web snippets as option, and not completely disabled
I thought it was cool to see what I had sent especially to make sure I copied and pasted the right url of doing so. please make an option instead of forcing us to disable sent web snippets

Custom weblink pre-rendered 'snippets'
We should be able to choose if we see these snippets at all, I understand why some people like them but personally I might enjoy just turning them off completely.
My idea is to add an option to turn snippets on/off for both sent links and received.
(sent links could just remain always off, it's true, we already know what we sent)4 votesIn Textra 3.41 rolling out this week we have added a new preference, see Settings > Web Previews (Off, Sent, Received, All). So configure whatever suits!

please allow disable link preview
The link preview feature is incredibly annoying. I'll probably switch to another app if we can't disable it
