Textra for PC/desktop
Will Textra ever consider building a PC version of the app so users can read SMS on a desktop computer? That would be so great!

Throwing in my voice as well. Used Textra for many years, bought pro and love this app so much! I miss the features it has that I can't find in Google Messages, but I find the need for texting from and receiving texts on my mac more important than these features.

I would like nothing more than to archive my old messages and export them to my PC. I could see this working simmilarly to PST files in outlook where you take a date range in textra export it to a file and send it to the PC where storage space is not an issue. Than you could brows text history without loosing as much space to the dialer storage which cant be moved off the internal storage TBH not using dialer storage at all but using its own file system to store texts and mms would be preferable because at least in that situation it will be on a larger external sd card and not be taking up limited internal storage. In the grand scheme of things this is not a major problem on flagship phones but lower end devices can have very limited internal storage and rely heavily on external media

Yet another Textra Pro user who is leaving the fold. Really too bad because Textra as some features I like. But I really needed an app that had a companion laptop/desktop app so I'm moving to Google Messages for now.

I'm a Textra pro user and I hope your developers are working on a desktop or web client. Viber has a Windows app, but Textra is a better app with more functionality. Please create a Windows desktop or web client for Textra. It would make Textra the most complete messaging app on the market.

Just bumping this message. A web client would be an excellent addition. :)

Please, please, please make this happen. I just switched from iPhone and didn't like the built in -or Samsung- SMS app on my Note 10+. I paid for the PRO version of Textra and would love to have the convenience of typing text message on my desktop.

NEEDS to happen. Is the only thing keeping this from being the #1 sms app

Obviously, Textra needs a windows app or web interface option . . . yes Google's Android Messages app is excellent in that regard--but, Google's Android Messages app does not offer the ability to schedule a future text message sooo . . . both of these apps need to get with the program!

Just uninstalled Textra because it lacks this feature. I love the customization but that fails to balance the inconvenience caused by the lack of a desktop solution. Android Messages may be pedestrian but it has the features I need.

I paid for this app, but no longer use it at all because Google Messages has a desktop. I guess they got their money....

Pro user. Would love this feature. Is there any reason why they wouldn't?
