Archive Messages
Rather than just permanently delete messages, it would be fantastic if you could archive messages. This was one of the features in Google Hangouts that I used the most and found incredibly helpful.
Sometimes you want to clean up your inbox so you don't have hundreds of conversations floating around in it that you have to scroll through, but you don't necessarily want to lose some conversations forever by deleting them. The ability to Archive conversations in order to move them out of the main inbox view and into a separate archive view for later reference or search would be perfect here, and I believe would appeal to many users.
See the Google Hangouts app for more details on how this could and should work. Would love to see it in Textra! It would make it truly stand apart from the competition!

This really should have been a priority feature by now... Even the default messenger application can do this. I love and paid for Textra but will most likely switch back to the default application again.

Yes it is an awesome as, and would be even more awesome :) when there will be options like swipe archive/delete, swipe other way call/pin/snooze until.... Similar to how "Inbox" by Google has it:) and maybe with setting to pick and choose between different buttons options, also the option to be able to choose perform only one option right away if wanted, like swipe and it calls right away, or swipe and archive or snoozes or pins it with no questions, or use press and hold for options! So excited for the future of this app, I love how developers continually work and improve, that is so much work and effort on their side!!! Thank you guys!!! I to would like to be able to archive messages cause several times I've accidentally sent messages to the wrong person. If it was archived it wouldn't happen.

The lack of this feature is what is going to have me switch from the paid version of this app to the default messenger; which is very basic, and has this feature.
This should have been a priority a long time ago. I don't know how this isn't available.

Please add archiving feature to Textra - I have used Textra in the past but currently do not use it because it is missing this feature.
