@Max, that makes sense I suppose. If you ever do get the luxurious free time or boredom to work on this, I'd love to see that implemented along with PDF/DOC/image exporting of conversations with options to include sender name, phone number, date/time sent, and thumbnails of any attachments sent, for all messages.

That would really create a unique offering that only this app would provide. So many people spend so much time looking for a substantial app that can export conversations for legal purposes.

There is no app backing up sms of 2 sims and restoring sms for each sim. The restoring just put all sms from the backup to one single sim.

I use SMS Backup an Restore but the problem is with group sms messages only the first contact is saved so when restoring the list of receivers is lost but the first one only 😒

Max, I have personally used SMS Backup & Restore every time I have switched phones. Every single time when I redownload the messages, they are out of order in Textra. I would pay more on top of what I already paid for Textra premium for this feature if it meant that I could download my messages in order. I review old messages from time to time for various reasons, and it's really confusing when they're messed up.

@Max, how about including (sync) it as a bonus feature for the paid version? It certainly would make upgrading more appealing. I'd rather not use a third party application just to sync my messages.

There are already other programs that do this well, no need for this to be included in Textra

Something like WhatsApp's backup feature which syncs with Google Drive would be perfect.
