    There are a number of very good apps that focus specifically on backup and restore of messages. We recommend and use SMS Backup & Restore.

    No point us re-inventing the wheel and losing focus on the core aspects of Textra.

    Max, I have personally used SMS Backup & Restore every time I have switched phones. Every single time when I redownload the messages, they are out of order in Textra. I would pay more on top of what I already paid for Textra premium for this feature if it meant that I could download my messages in order. I review old messages from time to time for various reasons, and it's really confusing when they're messed up.
