Pin contacts in the conversation list and/or favorites list would be a great and useful addition.

Big Brother ChompSMS can do this.

I really like the commented idea about swiping over to a list of favorites.

I would really like to have this, GoSMS has it, and I love it, there are only a few people that I text daily, and I get about 50 texts a day. It is hard to find them, and a hassle to always type the name in. 5 stars for sure with this.

Can I give this all of my votes? It's really the only feature I feel is missing.

I want this so bad. To me, this is the only missing Tetra feature. It's so frustrating to not have my close friends conversations at the top.

Or maybe swipe right at the contacts list to bring up a list of pinned people. This way you don't push down people you are taking with but can easily get to your favourites.
