This app should learn how I type. It still will not learn the word Lord as capital L no matter how many times I use it. Can we please fix this. Thanks.

Turn off screen wake on muted threads
You can change global settings or individual thread settings to turn off screen waking. However, if you mute a thread, and don't take the extra step of turning off screen wake for that thread, then your phone still lights up when you get a text in that thread. It should automatically turn off screen wake for muted threads.

variable button
it's to similar to another app. make it possible to change button, color an type into button "SMS" in a multicolor button.

Search By Date
I'd like to put in a date (e.g., July 7th, 2020 or 7/7/20 or any number of permutations) and see all texts sent/received that day

Locked message icon in conversation view
Wouldn't it improve the UX if the conversation view could show a locked message icon in the profile picture, so you don't have to open the conversation only to confirm there is a locked message inside? I hope you agree. 😀

Notification Numbers
Where the dot appears for new text message. Have numbers so you know how many text messages you have

Unsent drafts & Conversation titles or subject matter & Prioritizing individual conversations
An optional setting that sends a notification if u hav any drafts that hav not been sent. Ideally could b setting for all texts but also per conversation. And maybe optional amount of time that the app waits to send u the notification after u leave the draft unsent. And if or if not that u want it to keep reminding u until the draft is sent. I've found that recently I can be texting somebody and answer someone else or do something else and I just forget to hit send. Sometimes it is a text that I have talked…

Deleted texts & adding them back to convo
Save text for a certain amount of time before they are deleted in case of accidentally deleting the wrong text or conversation. Also be able to view the deleted texts for that same amount of time and option to add the text back to the conversation list

correct total or title in group messages
on my Android Galaxy s20, group texts are labeled as "X people in this conversation", but X does not include myself. Either change the total to be "(others + me) in this conversation" or "X OTHER people in this conversation"

Problem with multiple threads for the same person
Every time I travel overseas and receive messages, I textra creates a totally separate thread for the same phone number because it appears differently. for example, in Japan my brother appears as 0904 ### ####. when I text him it's at +1 904 ### ####. His photo appears next to his name, so I know it is correctly identifying his contact but the messages appear in a totally separate thread and I don't want them to.

Group & Bulk & mass texts
1st, I love textra! And will continue to use it. 2nd, 1 feature that is very useful in the yellow messages app, is that you can switch different messages sent to groups between, what you guys call group chats, and mass texts which go to individuals as you send each message.
It would be great to have that option as a clickable feature on the message instead of having to go into the groups settings every time you want to send a message.

Receive messages only from contacts

automatically check for a number already matching except has local area code
When you have added a contact with no area code specified, and then the person texts you, their number comes in with the area code......Textra won't notice that the phone numbers are identical except for the area code. It should assume the number without an area code is a local number, and merge the conversations instead of keeping them as separate threads. The Messages app does this merging correctly and automatically.

It will be nice that the keyboards used are also valid for other applications
I would like the keyboard used (I have a huawei) so the keyboard that he puts is ios can go for other applications

change bubble font
the font Textra uses that looks like bubble letters is very hard to read and is pretty annoying. I'd like a way to change it to a normal font like this.

Color icon and message's bubble
In the menu my contact icons are the same color by default. If I change for textra to choose colors for my contacts, it automatically chooses the message bubble colors for all my contacts. In some cases I don't like the bubble colors because they make too little contrast with the text inside.
I suggest the random contact color to be independent from the message bubble color. At least to see a colorful menu with standardised color bubbles.1 vote -
Non repliable contacts
There are some numbers that do not support replies (such as phone number companies etc) . At those companies the app should hide the text option completely.

More Font Options
Currently there are only 3 font options. Having more font options available would be easier on the eyes (Times New Roman, Typewriter, etc.)
