Customize/disable the calendar underlining feature
This is very very very rarely useful, and it's really annoying how it always underlines "now". What psychopath would text about an event happening "now" and want to add it to their calendar? Customization in regards to sensitivity or just enabledness would be stellar!

Search for keywords and phrases in a single text conversation
There needs to be an option in the pull down menus on the top right
of the individual text conversations to search for specific words and/or phrases within that text conversation.
All other messaging apps offer this option, such as Samsung and Google messages. I absolutely LOVE the Textra messaging app and all the customizable options it offers for the messages.However, I frequently need to search within my conversations for specific messages, and not having that option is really a deal breaker for me to continue using it.

Add a "Mark as Read" option to the pop-ups you get from texts, instead of only having a "Reply to (Sender)" option.

Underlined words
Add option to disable underlining of words like "now" "today" etc. I do not need something added to my calendar every time I use the word now. Ridiculous.

create a way to deal with spam
please make a way to have messages that are spam go to a separate folder like in email. that way you can screen them and if not spam can still check them. I get a hundred of political spam texts weekly..

Access deleted chats or texts from the menu. Keep deleted chats or texts in the Trash for up to 30, 60 or 90 days before permanently deleted. Or option to "empty" trash at any moment
