Will the RCS features be coming to Textra?

Phone companies have finally switched over.
I would like to use this.
but there isn't many apps that don't support it.
I'll have to move to Android messages if there's no support

will it ever support RCS feature from Google ?

Rcs support needed as people start using it, Google app is available across the board now

Putting Textra on the shelf until RCS is available. I hate to do it, as I've been a pro user for years.

START BETA TESTING FOR:
Typing indicator to see when your contact is writing, regardless of the type of app their using. If you have an Android or IPhone.

Add a bubble with some dots to let us know when someone is typing and maybe add some text below our bubble that says when someone read your message 😂👍

It would be nice to can put a background wallpaper from our own gallery in background for the conversations and the home page too.
A new update with this would be welcomed.

some of us that live in remote mountainous areas would appreciate the ability to send messages via wifi.

Having been using textra for so many years, thanks to being at the forefront of developments, (if you asked me textra has always been robustly ahead of the competition), it is a major let down that RCS is not supported. Good bye textra, nice knowing you x

Backup all or an individual conversation or both can be save backup as a Text, html, pdf file & can be restore anytime again.

You can see when someone is typing like the android messenger

I would absolutely love it if we had the option of changing the pictures of group chats. That way you could match the name you gave the chat but also not be stuck with halfs of peoples profile pictures when looking at your list of texts. Anyways, you guys are doing a great job I love the app, keep it up!

i want to set password on particular conversation or it should be hidden in the app somewhere. so that if someone holds my cell phone he couldn't access that conversation

This is the only way in which Google Messages is better than Textra. It has an archive. Doesn't have to be on by default but it would be greatly appreciated
