    Please make this a customizable setting. Have my sound up to hear incoming then get blasted by a raindrop, and over and over again during an active conversation. I know this is already a submitted idea, but I wanted to highlight how important it is. The raindrop is my single biggest issue with this app that is otherwise awesome

  3. Groups outside of contacts

    Textra user for several years now but may be changing to Samsung messages. I love the fact that you can create a group in Samsung messages outside of the contacts group. Additionally creating a group in contacts doesn't capture individual contacts (husband/wife/kid/etc.). Please consider adding a group feature in Textra that doesn't depend on any groups in contacts.

    I'd love to set iOS emojis for family and friends that I know use iPhone so I can have a more accurate representation of what's being conveyed by and to them, while retaining Android style in other conversations.

  9. Shading or some indicator of who sent latest text message

    I would love to have some easy indication of whether I responded to a text thread last (and I am waiting on a response from them) or whether the other person responded last - when viewing the list of all conversations. Maybe by lightly shading the conversations in the list as an indicator. Or a small mark or symbol on the conversation thread as an indicator.

    the option for sending a voice memo/message needs to have an option for "noise cancelling" as both Samsung messages and Google messages have them but this does not. can this be added?

    Some apps allow replies to images sent. currently the app puts 'replied to image with (insert emoji)' if someone replies to one. I feel this feature would prove useful.
